In a tight game it was the Sierra Nevada Goldens 4, the Duluth-Superior Dukes
2 at Dodger Stadium.
 
Brett Anderson(5-2) gave Sierra Nevada a solid outing. He went 6 and 2/3
innings surrendering 8 hits and 1 walk.  Sierra Nevada totaled 9 hits on the
night.  
 
Anderson was helped out by Rubby De La Rosa who recorded his 1st save.  Anibal
Sanchez(12-15) was charged with the loss.  'I just wanted to give my team a
chance to win.' said Anderson, 'I got burned on a couple of pitches. But we
won the game, and that's all that matters.'
