In a good matchup it was the Chuckanut Bay Tubas 5, the Duluth-Superior Dukes
3 at Dodger Stadium.

Manny Corpas(2-1) contributed a very nice performance in relief. He allowed
only 2 hits and 1 walk in 3 innings and chalked up 4 strikeouts dropping his
ERA from 4.11 to 3.44. Both teams ended up with 7 hits on the night.

Dontrelle Willis recorded the save, his 1st. David Pauley(0-1) ended up with
the loss in relief. He was a hard-luck loser, pitching 2 innings and not
allowing an earned run.

Dr. David Dick was just happy to get a win, 'We've had such a bad streak of
games -- boy, it's great to get the monkey off our back. Now maybe we can
relax a little and play the kind of baseball of which we are capable.'
