Ryan Theriot had 3 base hits at Dodger Stadium where the Duluth-Superior Dukes
beat the dreadful Sierra Nevada Goldens 3 to 2.

Duluth-Superior did all the necessary damage in the 2nd inning plating 3 runs
on 4 base hits. James Loney got things going when he delivered a base-hit.
Theriot was next and he doubled. Corey Patterson then doubled. After an out
was recorded, Humberto Quintero came to the plate and drew a walk. One out
later, Brett Anderson came up and he threw a wild pitch. Michael Bourn
extended the rally and lashed a single. That early run support was all that
Jason Vargas(11-11) required. Rafael Soriano earned the save with a perfect
ninth, his 33rd save.

Anderson(7-4) was the loser. He gave up 7 hits and 1 walk in 6 innings.
