Keppinger hit 2 doubles and had 3 RBI as the Andover Cougars defeated the
Duluth-Superior Dukes 4 to 0 at Dodger Stadium.
Bailey(3-2) was tremendous on the mound for Andover. He gave up just 3 hits
and 2 walks in 9 innings dropping his ERA from 4.42 to 3.59. Andover had a
total of 7 hits for the game.
Jason Vargas(5-4) took the loss. He pitched 7 and 1/3 innings giving up 7
hits and 1 walk. Mike Swanson was obviously impressed with the pitching of
Bailey, 'That guy made us look a little silly out there tonight. We just
couldn't get to him at all - everything was working for him. I just hope
that he got that kinda performance out of his system.'
