Brandon Phillips had 2 base hits as the Lancaster Buckeyes defeated the
Duluth-Superior Dukes by the score of 4 to 3 at Dodger Stadium.
 
Lancaster had the winning rally in the top of the 8th inning plating 2 runs
using 3 hits.  After an out was recorded, Phillips started the attack as he
hit a single.  One out later, Ryan Howard stepped in and he lined a single.
Chris Carter then doubled.  Duluth-Superior had a chance in the 9th but they
came up short.  
 
The victory was credited to Matt Lindstrom(5-5) who went 2 innings, allowing
no runs. Matt Thornton earned his 5th save.  Ryan Webb(0-1) was given the
loss in relief.  He pitched 2 innings and surrendered 4 hits and no walks.
