Duluth-Superior Dukes by the score of 5 to 3 at Dodger Stadium.
 
Washington Crsg set the tone of the game in the first inning scoring 4 runners
on 5 hits.  That scoring would be all that was needed.  Washington Crsg had
13 hits for the game and Duluth-Superior had 8.  
 
John Lackey(7-3) got credit for the victory, pitching 7 innings and allowing 3
runs. Jesse Crain got the save, his 5th.  Jason Vargas(6-6) was the losing
pitcher.  
 
The Washington Crsg ballclub's record now stands at 50-36.  Not able to get
much going in recent weeks, Duluth-Superior is 1-9 of late and now has an
overall record of 43-43.
