Josh Hamilton had 4 hits and Armando Galarraga went 9 solid innings at Dodger
Stadium as the San Jose Scorpions beat the Duluth-Superior Dukes by the count
of 8 to 1.
Galarraga(6-2) was solid in the win. He didn't allow much, just 5 hits and 1
walk in 9 innings dropping his ERA from 3.27 to 3.01. San Jose finished with
11 hits in the victory.
Cliff Lee(8-7) ended up with the loss. He pitched 7 innings giving up 9 hits
and no walks. Dave Silverberg was very impressed with his pitcher, Galarraga,
'He had unusually good pitch placement tonight. It was almost unfair - but a
beautiful game to watch from where I sat'
