The Green Bay Yoopers ended a long winless drought and had an easy time of it
at Dodger Stadium defeating the Duluth-Superior Dukes by a score of 6 to
1.
 
Jaime Garcia(2-3) gave Green Bay a solid outing.  He went 5 innings and
surrended up 3 hits and 1 walk lowering his ERA from 5.35 to 4.91.  Green Bay
out-hit Duluth-Superior for the game, 9 hits to 6.  
 
Chris Carpenter(6-1) was the loser.  He got hammered, allowing 9 hits and 4
walks in 6 and 1/3 innings.  'Thankfully we got ourselves a win', Garcia
said.  'It's great to be back on the winning side of things.'
