Fausto Carmona pitched a 3 hitter and third baseman Chipper Jones connected
with a 'big fly' and had 3 RBI at Dodger Stadium where the Chuckanut Bay
Tubas beat the Duluth-Superior Dukes by the score of 8 to 1.
Carmona(2-3) was tremendous on the mound for Chuckanut Bay. He surrendered
only 3 hits and 2 walks in 9 innings. Chuckanut Bay managed 15 hits in their
victory.
Anibal Sanchez(3-2) ended up with the loss. He was touched for 10 hits and 3
walks in 6 and 2/3 innings. 'All of my pitches were working tonight,'
Carmona said. 'I felt really good out there, and heck, I think I could have
gone longer.'
