separated the combatants at game's end.  The Duluth-Superior Dukes won by the
slimmest of margins, 6 to 5.
 
The game started off with Duluth-Superior taking the lead in the first when
they scored 3 runs on 1 hit.  Hoth out-hit Duluth-Superior 9 to 5, but
Duluth-Superior ended up with more runs.  
 
The winning pitcher was Zack Greinke(1-0) who allowed 5 runs in 6 and 2/3
innings. Matt Capps earned his 1st save.  Wandy Rodriguez(0-1) was charged
with the loss.  
 
'I struggled a bit out there tonight,' Greinke said, 'but I toughed it out and
we got the win.'
