Cliff Lee retired 11 batters on strikeouts as the seemingly unstoppable
Duluth-Superior Dukes outscored the Belmont Park Met Milers 5 to 3.
 
Lee(2-0) had a solid outing for Duluth-Superior.  He allowed 8 hits and 2
walks in 8 innings dropping his ERA from 4.50 to 3.94.  Overall
Duluth-Superior out-hit Belmont Park 12 to 8.  
 
Huston Street recorded the save, his 3rd.  John Lackey(0-1) was given the
loss.  He surrendered 8 hits and 1 walk in 5 innings.  
 
Lee was jubilant in the hometown clubhouse, 'It was a lot of fun out there.
The fans gave me a lot of support as did my teammates.  We got the victory
and I'll sure take 11 strikeouts anytime!'
