Cliff Lee completed the game without help from the bullpen and James Loney had
4 hits and 4 RBI as the Maine Lobstahs were badly beaten by the
Duluth-Superior Dukes, 13 to 2.
 
Loney helped send the fans home happy.  He doubled in the 1st inning, doubled
bringing home two baserunners in the 4th inning, stroked a one-base hit
scoring a run in the 5th inning and laced a base-knock resulting in a run in
the 7th inning.  Duluth-Superior totaled 19 hits on the night.  
 
Lee(12-6) finished the game allowing 2 runs in the victory. The losing pitcher
was Bartolo Colon(3-8).  He was knocked around by Duluth-Superior, allowing 9
hits and 2 walks in 4 innings.  
 
'We really needed this win' said Mike Swanson.  'That first drink of water at
the end of a drought sure does taste good!'
