Delmon Young slammed a homerun and had 2 RBI and Zack Greinke dominated
striking out 12 San Jose batters at Dodger Stadium where the Duluth-Superior
Dukes beat the San Jose Scorpions by the score of 5 to 3.
 
Greinke(9-4) pitched a solid game.  He surrendered 5 hits and 3 walks in 6
innings.  Duluth-Superior totaled 7 hits on the night.  
 
Greinke got help from Huston Street who earned his 17th save.  Scott
Diamond(0-1) absorbed the loss.  He pitched 6 innings allowing 6 hits and 2
walks.
 
Everyone seemed to enjoy the performance of Greinke - except San Jose.  Dave
Silverberg lamented, 'He just was 'on' tonight.  He was keeping our guys off
balance all game.  A fine game by a good strikeout pitcher - makes it a fun
game for the hometown fans - unfortunately we were the visitors!'
