Michael Bourn had 2 base hits and 2 RBI and Cliff Lee racked up an impressive
total of 14 strikeouts as the Duluth-Superior Dukes topped the Washington
Crsg Generals by a score of 2 to 0 at Dodger Stadium.
 
Lee(10-6) escaped virtually unscathed against the Washington Crsg hitters.  He
was stingy on the mound, allowing just 7 hits and 2 walks in 9 innings
dropping his ERA from 3.77 to 3.52.  The Washington Crsg batters didn't put
up a fight in the 9th.  
 
The loss was charged to Ian Kennedy(6-5).  Lee was jubilant in the hometown
clubhouse, 'It was a lot of fun out there.  The fans gave me a lot of support
as did my teammates.  We got the victory and I'll sure take 14 strikeouts
anytime!'
