James Shields had an impressive outing as the Alexandria Dukes bested the
Duluth-Superior Dukes 3 to 1 at Dodger Stadium.
Shields(9-6) pitched one of his finer games as he simply was too much for the

Boone Logan was great in relief and recorded his 2nd save.
Jason Vargas(4-9) was given the loss. With the win, Alexandria continued
their winning ways; their streak now stands at 6 games and counting.
