Ian Desmond hit one over the fence at Dodger Stadium where the Duluth-Superior
Dukes beat the floundering Montreal Sunsets 2 to 1.
 
Montreal was unable to recover after Duluth-Superior went ahead in the bottom
of the 7th inning scoring a single run on 2 base hits.  After two outs James
Loney slapped a base-hit.  Carlos Gonzalez stepped up next and he doubled.
Jorge Posada then drew a walk.  The game was a scoreless duel until the 7th
inning.  
 
Ryan Webb(2-0) went 2 innings allowing no runs for the victory. Huston Street
earned his 22nd save.  The loss was charged to Jerome Williams(2-4) in
relief.
