Cliff Lee was able to finish what he started and was credited with a complete
game and Mark Trumbo hit 2 doubles and had 3 RBI at Dodger Stadium as the
Duluth-Superior Dukes beat the Southtown Misers by the count of 8 to
2.
 
Duluth-Superior took the lead for good in the bottom of the 2nd inning scoring
a single run using 2 hits.  Duluth-Superior finished with 14 hits in the
victory.  
 
Lee(15-6) picked up the complete game victory, allowing 2 runs. Hiroki
Kuroda(9-8) suffered the loss.  Duluth-Superior knocked him around a bit, as
he gave up 6 runs in 2 innings.  
 
For Duluth-Superior the victory was a welcome one, indeed.  They had been
struggling in their last ten games with a disappointing 2-8 record.  With the
loss Southtown now has a record of 54-62.
