The Southtown Misers and the Duluth-Superior Dukes locked up in an exciting
one-run game at Dodger Stadium. The final score was the Southtown Misers 3,
the Duluth-Superior Dukes 2.
Southtown scored the deciding run in the top of the 9th inning. Hideki Matsui
hit a bases-empty home run. Southtown had just 6 hits for the night.
The win went to Neftali Feliz(3-2) who allowed 1 run in 3 innings. Matt
Capps(2-2) was hit with the loss in relief. He pitched 2 innings and
surrendered 1 hit and 1 walk.
