Rickie Weeks had 4 hits and Daniel Hudson reeled off a total of 10 strikeouts
as the Meridian Trojans outscored the Duluth-Superior Dukes 8 to
2.
 
Hudson(8-8) had a strong outing.  He allowed just 5 hits and no walks in 9
innings.  Meridian rapped out 13 hits for the night.  
 
Zack Greinke(10-7) was the loser.  Despite losing, he struckout 10 Meridian
batters in 6 and 2/3 innings.  'All of my pitches were working tonight,'
Hudson said.  'I felt really good out there, and heck, I think I could have
gone longer.'
