Shortstop Juan Uribe connected with a 'big fly' and had 3 RBI and Phil Hughes
allowed 3 hits while blanking Duluth-Superior at Dodger Stadium where the
Southtown Misers beat the Duluth-Superior Dukes by the score of 7 to
0.
 
Hughes(4-9) pitched one of his finer games as he simply was too much for the
Duluth-Superior batters.  He allowed just 3 hits and no walks in 9 innings.
Hughes chalked up 11 strikeouts reducing his ERA from 5.19 to 4.74.
Southtown managed 11 hits in their victory.  
 
Zack Greinke(11-8) ended up with the loss.  He surrendered 6 runs and 8 hits
in 8 innings.  'I had my good stuff today.' Hughes said. 'As the game went
along I started to get the feeling that I was going to strike out a bunch of
hitters.'
