Carlos Gonzalez connected with a 'big fly' and had 2 RBI as the
Duluth-Superior Dukes topped the ice-cold Meridian Trojans by a score of 6 to
5 at Dodger Stadium.
 
The deciding run was scored by Duluth-Superior in the bottom of the 8th.
Delmon Young smashed a bases-empty 'big-fly'.  Skip Schumaker followed next
and he ripped a single.  This was a game of many highs and lows for the home
town fans, as the lead kept changing - 6 times in all.  
 
Jon Rauch(2-0) went 1 and 2/3 innings allowing 1 run for the victory. Rafael
Soriano earned his 22nd save.  Andy Sonnanstine(0-1) suffered the loss in
relief.  He allowed Duluth-Superior 3 runs in 2 innings of work.
